KUALA LUMPUR: Keadilan Youth deputy information chief Rozan Azen Mat Rasip and Bersih 2.0 project officer Mandeep Singh were called up by the police this morning over their involvement in a peaceful protest last month. The duo showed up at the Sentul police station accompanied by two lawyers to have their statement recorded by the police in relation to a protest in front of the Jinjang central lock-up on June 24.

“We were asked to assist them over a candle light vigil held on the night of June 24 after 33 protesters were arrested in front of Parliament,” said Mandeep. “The IO wanted me to explain my role in the rally. I told I will testify in court.
